through highly coordinated marketing and branding efforts executed
through multiple channels, both online and offline. He also chairs the

| |
| Vice President Public Relations: |
| Susan Goodier: The VP Public Relations works in close contact
with the Vice President Membership and the webmaster in promoting the club
through the media. The VP Public Relations also chairs the Public Relations Committee. |
| |
| Secretary: |
| Lydia Flocchini: Similar to the role of a corporate secretary,
the Secretary maintains the
legal documents and records of the club, ensures timely reporting to
appropriate organizations, and provides the club with historical
continuity through written documentation. |
| |
| Treasurer: |
| Ron Ratcliffe: The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the club, ensuring
financial stability and growth by intricately coordinating with other
officers. |
| |
| Sergeant-at-Arms: |
| Heather Russell: Heather has perhaps the most important officer
position. She is responsible for opening the meeting and energizing members
and guests alike, thereby making the rest of the meeting upbeat through
its emcee (called the Toastmaster). She is also responsible for the
club's physical assets. |
| |
| Club Founder: |
|
Maryann Medina: Maryann has been involved with Toastmasters since
the 1980s and holds a concurrent membership with San Mateo
Toastmasters. She has served as President, VP Education, Secretary, and Sergeant-at-Arms, and has judged area speech contests and attended an international
convention. Awoken by a prophetic vision to bring Toastmasters to the
people of San Francisco, her dream has quickly become reality.
Professionally, Maryann is retired from the USPS and currently serves as
a Clerk Craft Trustee for the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO, of
the San Francisco Local.
She thanks her daughter for providing her transportation to the
Main Street Maniacs meetings.

Founding Club Mentor: |
|
Bill Henthorn, ATM-S/CL: Not a club officer, the club mentor acts to guide the
officers and members to continued success. Bill served as the division
governor for downtown San Francisco in 2000-2001, where he oversaw 700 members in 25
clubs, leading his division to #1 in membership growth and #1 in CTM
education awards. He has also served as President, VP Education, VP Membership, VP
Public Relations, Secretary, and Sergeant-at-Arms. He joined
Toastmasters in August 1999. In community activities, he is founder and president of
the board of Punahou NorCal, a federal and California nonprofit corporation which
supports Hawaii-related culture in the Bay Area.
Professionally, Bill owns a rapidly growing marketing consulting
business which partners with early-stage companies.
A business owner since graduating from UC Berkeley, Bill has founded
and owned 4 previous businesses in Honolulu before his move to San Francisco
in 1998. He is a graduate of Punahou School, which has graduated President
Barack Obama, AOL founder Steve Case, EBay founder Pierre Omidyar, and Dancing with the Stars host Carrie Ann
Inaba.
