Distinguished Club Program
|
|
With over 75 years of experience, Toastmasters International has found
key elements in successful clubs. Distilling these into 10 goals for the
fiscal year, they
relate to:
|
- education
- leadership
- membership growth and
- administration.
|
|
If you who have built organizations, you immediately recognize their
importance, and appreciate how leading a Toastmasters club builds
transferrable skills to build any organization -- or even your own
family! |

Those of you who haven't done so - you can gain tons by serving in a
voluntary leadership position.
Why?
You can't hire volunteers with money. You can't fire them for poor
performance.
You can only do what true leaders do: motivate, guide, encourage,
and redirect through evaluation.
Here are the 10 Distinguished Club Program requirements:
|
Education:
- 2 CTMs (members completing their first 10 speeches)
- 2 CTMs (in addition to the above)
- 1 ATM (a member completing an advanced speaking level)
- 1 ATM (in addition to the above)
Leadership:
- 1 CL, AL, or DTM (Competent Leader, Advanced Leader,
or Distinguished Toastmaster)
- 1 CL, AL, or DTM (in addition to the above)

vitality
- 4 more new members: more new blood means more vitality
and energy
