Description:
This program is designed for business and professional people from North America who are involved in work with non-North American clients or colleagues. By learning a framework for understanding the effect of culture on communication, participants can understand their own communication culture better, learn about the cultural norms of selected foreign cultures and develop a strategy for successful communication with their non-North American counterparts.

 

Learning Outcomes:
Your Team will learn to:
  • Use a coordinated system to identify characteristics of culture in communication and profile their own culture.
  • Compare their own culture to the culture of the country or countries where they will be doing business and understand how the communication patterns differ.
  • Apply the model to create a strategy for succeeding with their next communication event with non-North American counterparts.
