Program
Outline |
| |
| Description: |
| From time to time, some of your people have the opportunity to be interviewed on a traditional or internet-based radio or television program. Those moments on the airwaves - of your community, your country or the world - are important to your organization! They provide wonderful opportunities, but can also provide some very public 'bad press' for your organization. The key to success is in the preparation, and in this short but powerful workshop, your people will develop the skills and confidence needed to ensure
success.
Additional one-to-one rehearsal and coaching is also available. The investment for this added confidence builder is minimal compared to the potential benefits it can produce for your organization.

| Learning
Outcomes: |
Your Team will:
- how to 'get to know' the host before their interview
- how to speak in sound bytes
- how to finesse leading or potentially damaging questions
- how to get your organization's message out unobtrusively, while allowing the host to maintain full control of the interview
- how to deal with questions when you don't know the answer … after all, it's an audience of people in their homes, offices and cars … you can't "get back" to them with an answer! … or can you ???
- how to handle Q&A from listeners or viewers
- how to get invited back!
- and more!
