BizJournals.com:
Produced by the American City Business Journals, publisher of the San
Francisco Business Times, Boston Business Journal, and Pacific Business News
(the 3 I subscribe to) and other business city newspapers, this plain-text weekly
real estate ezine has executive summaries from national markets, linking
to online web articles, articles, and more articles. Plus more resources. A
fantastic starting point for any research!
Globe
Street: Like BizJournals, a plain-text daily real estate ezine
from 20 national markets, linking to articles and a multitude of other
archived articles. And they do cover London, in case you want to follow the
City. Just be ready to put up with the fact you'll get it daily. At least,
you don't have to worry about recycling every week.

nareit.com:
The official site of the National Association of Real Estate Investment
Trusts, you'll find a number of free resources here. Membership allows your
greater access, although with their membership fees, you could start and
fully fund a global office real estate investment trust. Realtor.com:
The official site of the National Association of RealtorsŪ, the folks who
trademarked the name. It has links to every RealtorŪ multiple-listing service
(MLS) listed property in the country. It's great for performing a spot check
of local markets, especially if you're already knowledgeable about those
markets and just waiting to do a little bottom-fishing (remember, buy them
when nobody wants them!). Note that because it doesn't have historical data
or closed sales prices, it's not really a great source for market trend
research and analysis. And... as a former RealtorŪ, I know that the
database is not always totally current.
rebuz.com:
This site has links to the top apartment real estate investment trusts (REITs),
as well as other REITs. I'm not sure what the "buz" has to do with
apartment REITS. Self-created, I suppose.

Investing in REITS by Ralph Bloch. This easy-to-read primer offer you an
amazingly thorough journey to gaining greater understanding of the
relatively new security that replaced the real estate limited partnership
unit of the 1980s (before Reagan shut them down with the Tax Reform Act of
1986). An extremely qualified expert on REITs, Mr. Bloch provides his
expertise to guide large pension funds and real estate investment
companies and funds.
